Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This policy explains what personal information River Marketing Inc., doing business as ThePermitBot (“we”, “us”), collects through thepermitbot.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, including the pilot sign-up form and the contractor survey.
In short: we collect only what you type into our forms, plus the technical details any website receives. We set no cookies, run no analytics or advertising trackers, and never sell your information.
What we collect
| Where | What |
|---|---|
| Pilot sign-up form | Name, company, phone, email, the cities you work in, your message, and the language you viewed the page in. |
| Contractor survey | Your answers (for example how many jobs you do a month, how far you travel and how you handle permits today), and the name, company, email, phone and comments you choose to give. |
| Every visit | Like any website, the server that delivers the pages receives your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Your browser also asks Google Fonts for the site's fonts, which gives Google your IP address and browser type. |
| Your browser | The site remembers your language choice (Hebrew or English) in your browser's local storage, under the name tpb-lang. It never leaves your device and is not a cookie. |
We do not set cookies and do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
How we use it
- To contact you about the pilot and ThePermitBot, and to answer your questions.
- To understand which cities, permit types and problems matter to contractors, so we build the right things first.
- To keep the website running and secure.
We do not use your information for automated decisions about you, and we do not send marketing to anyone who has not given us their details.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the website for us, and only for that purpose:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts the website and stores the form submissions.
- Google LLC serves the fonts, and its email service holds our inbox.
- Sendinblue SAS (Brevo) sends form submissions from our PermitBot server to our inbox by email.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to a company that acquires this business, which would remain bound by this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep pilot sign-ups and survey responses while we are in touch with you about ThePermitBot, and delete them no later than 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights, including in California
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the right not to be discriminated against for using them. Since we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. Write to privacy@thepermitbot.com; we may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will answer within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission.
Browsers' “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals: we do no tracking, so there is nothing for them to switch off.
Children
This website is for businesses and not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to form submissions is limited to our team. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you send us.
Using the service itself
This policy is about the website. When you use the ThePermitBot service, whether on WhatsApp, in PermitBot or through the API, the job details and documents you send are used to prepare, submit and follow up on your permit applications, and are shared with the government agency you apply to. Messages on WhatsApp also pass through WhatsApp, run by Meta, under its own privacy policy. Pilot companies receive the full privacy terms for the service before they start. Information you keep in PermitBot is covered by the PermitBot privacy policy.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and if the change is material we will say so on the website.
